Though one of the leaders in funding, Arts Council is not the only funding body out there. Below are links to lists of funding bodies around the UK.


A free website resource to find grants in your sector



The biggest grant provider in the UK, with multiple strands such as Develop Your Creative Practice, Project Grants, and Touring Grants


Offering funding for arts organisations that annual turnover of over £50,000 to help improve quality of life for people and communities that lead to genuine social change. They're also interested in innovative and unusual projects


Grants and fundraising for projects that transforms and empowers cultural professionals to develop their skills


Supports producers in commercial theatre though bursaries, schemes, and development initiatives like Bridge the Gap for under represented producers. Stage One also invest in commercial theatre productions.


Financial support for choreographers, contemporary dancers, and ballet dancers


Grants and financial support for actors working, paying day-to-day expenses, but also offering support for actors making a living


Grants for charities that provide difference for communities through opportunities


Fellowships to support artists working in the arts through bursaries, mentorship, access to facilities, and other opportunities - aimed more at visual arts


Supports Black artists and creatives making work through no strings attached grants


Supporting heritage and arts through grants for projects that create positive change so that everyone has the chance to lead a fulfilling life


Grants of £1000 for artists of colour across the UK to make new work


Grants of up to £1k for actors and artists as part of Equity that need to take time off work


Offering grants, prizes and residencies for artists making work


Grants for charities of up to £5000 to help support early career artists, raise standards of performances, reach more audiences, etc


Supports actors and artists that are unable to work due to illness, injury, or in their twilight years


Offers emergency help to directors and dependents of deceased directors in acute need for short term support
