HUGE NEWS!

We are extremely excited to let you know that IGC have received £111,000 in funding from Arts Council England This funding allows us to invest in and support Midlands artists working in the theatre industry, while taking some essential time to strengthen our own sustainability and resilience as an organisation. And even better, this year marks a special anniversary of our 15th birthday!

Across 12 months we continue to strengthen our relationships with disabled artists, alongside a brilliant programme of workshops, Departure Lounge Festival and a new Artist Development Symposium to make investment in artists a higher priority in our industry.

Our essential one-to-one mentoring sessions continue; free, accessible, bespoke mentoring support for all theatre freelancers

Fresh new workshops to help you sharpen those creative and professional development skills will happen online and in person, all led by exciting artists and industry leaders!

Departure Lounge Festival returns for it’s 15th anniversary, continuing to be THE Midland’s fringe festival showcasing new work and platforming artists from across the Midlands, the UK, and international work – More to be announced in 2027!

As ever, In Good Company is led by artists needs and ideas, and supported by our valued partner organisations. Their contributions are vital to our continuation so special thanks to the dedicated teams at Arena Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome, The Core at Corby Cube, Derby Theatre (Lead Partner), Lincoln Arts Centre, Mansfield District Council (Mansfield Palace), Nonsuch Studios, Nottingham Playhouse, Royal & Derngate and Y Theatre.
